In the midst of the wooden farm of Homa Lime, one of the largest hydrated lime producers in the region is a pristine cottage that the Kipsigis named Kweisos, meaning the palm and indeed it is the palm of Muhoroni. Built in 1920, the property was a farm house. Today, with a few touches it can accommodate up to 10 people and offer an ideal, tranquil, weekend getaway. This little haven is only 75 kilometers from Kisumu town through the lush hills above the surrounding sugarcane plantations of the Koru area.

The house sleeps up to 12 people with the possibility of adding a further two camp beds for children. All linen, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied.
